10 Years of Veggie Saigon: From a Single Shop to a 5-Brand Plant-Based Ecosystem

Ten years is enough time for a bamboo shoot to become a grove. For Veggie Saigon, ten years is the journey from a small vegan shop in Da Nang to a 5-brand ecosystem serving thousands of diners daily.

The Beginning — 2016

Veggie Saigon was founded in a context where Da Nang vegan dining was very limited — mainly temple canteens and a few small shops serving simple vegan rice. The founding mission was simple: cook genuinely delicious vegan food — not 'good by vegan standards', but genuinely excellent by any standard.

Five Brands — Five Stories

Phở Bụt — traditional Vietnamese vegan pho; Vegan Bánh Mì — modern vegan street food baguettes; Bếp Chay 365 — daily family vegan rice; Juicy Coffee — healthy drinks and vegan coffee; and a fifth brand in development. Each brand serves a different segment but shares a common DNA: quality, honesty, and passion.

Vision 2030

Veggie Saigon targets by 2030: 50+ stores in major Vietnamese cities, international franchising in Singapore and Thailand, and becoming the most widely recognized vegan food brand in Southeast Asia. This is not a dream — it is a plan with a specific roadmap.

Ten years is enough to know that delicious vegan food is completely possible. The next ten years are to prove that it can become the default choice of millions of Vietnamese people.
